[In Brightest Day...]

His mind raced with such thoughts as he landed in the middle of the crowded streets of Coast City raising an arm and smiling to those hwo gazed upon the odd looking Green Lantern before them "Greetings Citizens of Earth, I've been assigned here under Oan contraction 2009, I'm sure you've been alerted by your former Lantern. You may call me Sodam Yat, Former Daxam hero and now...ah, well..." he trailed off as he began to see the puzzled faces of those around him. Surely they were aware of the Guardian's codes of honour, of their police force, it was galactic knowledge and with not one but four lanterns in their region surely earth was well aware of the order of things.

"Well...erm, If one of you would be happy to escort me to your galactic liason, I'd greatly appreciate it." he tried his best to push past the awkwardness, smiling softly at those around him as he cocked his head hoping they'd atleast understand that and...nothing. They had no idea. Such was the way of primitive planets but earth? This is what they had to offer? It was no wonder why Gardner and Jordan were so utterly reckless when their planet had such off rituals with those assigned to them. Turning his head down to the power ring he began to mutter to it softly "Have I done something to offend them...? Ring give me a basic tech rundown of the planet." he whispered hearing a buzzing and whirring as the ring soon responded "Earth. Sector 2814. No known Fleets. No known intergalactic travel. No known Galactic trading routes. Technology rating: 1.2. " it hummed causing Sodam to raise an eyebrow "A 1.2?! What kind of backwater...well...right...okay...So they haven't even discovered interplanetary trade. This has GOT to be a punishment." Sodam stated with a sigh deciding to take himself to the skies away from the crowds. If he was stuck in this backwater planet the least he could do was see the sights and the greatest 'sights' on earth? Well the heroes of course and by the Green light would he find one.

Alejandro Vega, also known as Magnetico the Great, is already in Coast City at the time when he saw some mysterious figure up the skies. The masked hero is not sure exactly what this alien is here for, but he seems to be lost somehow. Magnetico just put a robber in bars after a sad attempt to rob a bank, so the masked Mexican Hero used his magnetic powers to manipulate the street light as it wrapped itself around the robber and was able to save the cops' lives by stopping the bullets in midair. It brings nothing more but satisfaction that Magnetico has done the good deed for the city because he just loves being a hero. He doesn't want anyone to get hurt again. Anyway, he still feels the same way when the alien was asking some strange questions or things that the Mexican Hero does not understand. He could be very dangerous, so Magnetico hops on his Aluminum guitar as he manipulate its metallic properties to repel itself from the ground. This allows the Magnetico to surf in the air with a metal guitar. As the hero sees the alien with his green suit, ring, and the other fancy clothes on him, he decides to keep some enough distance to be ready for conflic yet also an enough distance to hopefully appear somewhat friendly to him. "Hey Amigo. I really don't understand what you just said, but I hope I can help in anyway. My name is Magnetico the Great and maybe I can be your tour guide around planet Earth, so what do you say? I hope that we can further continue Earth's alliance with the Green Lanterns." Magnetico said in his heavy Mexican accent. He would extend his hand to Sodam Yat whether he accepts his friendly gesture or not.

Hovering above the man with a curious gaze hidden beneath the emerald aura he couldn't help but think of Rayner, an honour lantern who had become something of a legend between the corp known as the torchbearer to those who knew the white lantern himself. Having served with Rayner for sometime and not truly understanding the whole concept of 'race' and 'country' that the earthlings had the man was truly something odd to Sodam Yat - why did Kyle sound such a way as this man did and yet Hal or Guy did not? The odd customs of earth would always confuse him but more so their optimism towards xenos would always make him feel at home as he had once felt on Daxam.

"That would be...appreciated. So, Are you a member of Honour Lantern Rayner's family?" he asked the odd masked man "Your mask...and uniform is confusing, what Corp do you serve? You may bare the markings of blue and red but it seems you hold no holy traits, nor a burning anger. Heh, Must be the type of lantern who's hopefully not angry all the time." he remarked with a smirk looking down to the main slowly descending before standing before him offering a hand to the luchador. As he extended his hand to shake though a large explosion was heard from a mile or so away causing the Green Lantern to raise an eyebrow at the noise. It could be nothing sure but it was at that moment something began to overwhelm him, that same feeling, the feeling of his senses becoming overwhelmed, this yellow sun it was an odd thing to the daxamites and since the cure for the toxicity of lead was found something that was quite powerful indeed. Sodam tried to remember the words of Conner Kent, trying to remember those words that allowed him to focus, he needed to single out on the sound and almost 'aim' his hearing. "It looks like we might be in for a team up." Sodam calmly stated as a smile formed on his face, not one of pleasure or delight but rather intrigue, he admittedly had always enjoyed his job as a member of the corp and with his enhanced abilities under the glow of the yellow sun this would be no different.

Forming a small green platform for the metallic master to stand upon if he so wished Sodam soared off but much faster than he anticipated causing him to spin about for a moment unable to get his grounding as he flew towards the sound but before he knew it, in the flash of an eye, he was there above a crowd of men and women dressed in orange and green robes wielding rifles and the like. Looking for his new partner Sodam gave a smile "If this is a common occurance...I suggest you stop me now, If not, I suggest we show off a little."

" 'Show off a little' ? I wonder what he means by that, hoo hoo......." an old man standing atleast half a mile away said to himself. He'd been listening relatively intently to what was being said, there, as if standing inches away from them. There was a "Magnetico the Great," who Mr. Sense could only guess was the reincarnation of Magneto (which was impossible, given that that crosses universes, but I'm more of a Marvel guy myself, so~) and a Sodam Yat, who was a Lantern of some sort, whatever that meant (see?).

There seemed to be some trouble approaching them. Mr. Sense would wait from a distance to see how things played out.
"If these guys are Supers...." he minds to himself, "then they're exactly what I'm looking for.... and exactly what Earth will need...."

"Well Amigo, no. I'm not a part of some family but I do come from Mexico. The land of my ancestors. I only serve the people's best safety and well being. A massive amount of radiation mutated my genetic code and this is why you see me controlling the metal's magnetic properties. My suit and my gear is came out of metal to help me fight crime." Magnetico the Great said to Sodem Yat. The mexican super hero agrees to team up with this Green Latern as he nobs his head. "Let's team up, Amigo." The superhero isn't aware of the ease dropper down below, but he is sure that there is no danger at least from this Green Latern.
